The Carlton Motor Sports Club organized the event in collaboration with Motor Racing Club. The 2013 edition of the Carlton Super Sports consisted of eight sports events, Sri Lanka Open Triathlon, 4×4 race, mountain bike races, tug-of-war, motor racing, rowing, aquatic sports and boxing. Under a concept of the Tharunyata Hetak Chairman and Hambantota District Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa, the Carlton Super Sports has been a massive crowd puller since the first edition itself.
