On the evening of October 4th, the Class of '97 from Visakha Vidyalaya gathered at Eagles’ Lakeside Banquet Hall, Atthidiya, Rathmalana, to honor and celebrate the dedication of our cherished teachers. This memorable event was graced by esteemed Chief Guest, former principal Mrs. M.N. Edussooriya, along with 57 past teachers, including former principal and deputy principals, who played pivotal roles in shaping our educational journey.

After 27 years since they walked the halls of Visakha Vidyalaya, this gathering served as a heartfelt reminder of the profound impact of their teachers have had on student’s lives. The class of 97’ came together to express their gratitude, recognizing the countless hours they devoted to nurturing student’s minds and spirits.

Throughout the evening, class of 97 ‘ shared stories, laughter, and memories that highlighted the invaluable lessons learned both inside and outside the classroom. Each teacher's unique contribution was celebrated, reminding the students that the seeds of knowledge they planted continue to flourish in their lives today.
